Description

The course offering in this program is wide reaching. It does not just focus on one element of health and community services, it delivers subjects that address a range of different fields from indigenous health, psychology, environment, and health, research, statistics etc. This program also has several key themes to broaden your knowledge and improve your employability prospects:
• Health and Community Service Subjects
• Research and Statistics in Community Health Subjects
• Counseling and Psychology Subjects
• Leadership and Management Subjects
• Specialised Health Concerns and Promotion in the Community

Duration

The course consists of 24 subjects over three years of full-time enrolment. You will enroll in four subjects of 12 weeks duration each semester of your course duration.

Entry Requirements

To ensure an appropriate learning opportunity, prospective students would need to demonstrate a capacity to undertake study at Diploma level. This can be demonstrated via the following:

Aged 18 years or above
Successful completion of Year 12 or the equivalent level of study with First Class Result.
Minimum English level of IELTS test score of 6.0 or higher across all bands (For International Students)

Additional Entry Requirements

Students will need a current Working with Children Check and a National Criminal History Record Check before they commence a professional practice placement.
